EY is looking for a Manager to join our leading Valuation and Modelling and Economics practice, with focus on the Financial Services Sector (Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), Insurance, and Wealth and Asset Management (WAM)).

EY has an established industry‑leading practice in Strategy and Transactions. We advise our clients on transaction and non‑transaction related decision‑making, including strategic planning, identification and assessment of value creation for strategic expansions/optimizations, reshaping results, operating model redefinition, feasibility assessment, business planning, financial reporting, market valuation, and transactional considerations.

You will understand key business drivers, co‑develop our approach with the client, agree on value measurements, and provide value through insights, factual conclusions, and advice. You will support Financial Services clients in defining strategic objectives and priorities through performing strategic analysis work to transaction execution. You will plan, prepare, and review deliverables in various forms including Excel data books, written reports, presentations, and discussions with the client.

You will understand the capabilities of the firm and identify opportunities to sell additional services to our clients.

We are looking for experienced Strategy and Transactions professionals with a deep understanding and experience relevant to the Financial Services Sector (Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management), to join our high‑performing team.

• As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business and 7‑12 years of related business valuation experience.
• In-depth understanding and expertise in various valuation methodologies, market assessment, market sizing, feasibility and business plan building, operating and commercial model review, financial analyses, capital allocation and cost optimization, portfolio optimization, etc.
• Financial modelling skills, including experience building models from scratch.
• Strong understanding of financial services institutions’ balance sheet structure and operating models.
• Broad understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value measurements, business combinations, impairment testing, etc.

• Have previous valuation experience in a professional services/Big 4 firm.
• Have made an achievement or significant progress towards a CFA.
• Have excellent business development skills.
