The Role
This senior investment leadership position sits within a global asset manager and carries full accountability for a diversified family office portfolio spanning real estate, private equity, venture capital, and both listed and private investments. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution across investment origination, portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investment strategy and portfolio management across multiple asset classes including real estate, private equity, venture capital, and listed equities.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across sectors.
- Prepare and review investment analysis, financial models, and portfolio reporting.
- Develop commercial strategies and build investment business cases.
- Lead internal investment teams and collaborate with external partners and advisers.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with founders, investors, and strategic partners.
- Oversee due diligence processes and investment evaluation frameworks.
- Drive partnership development across multiple sectors and geographies.
- 10 or more years of experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, family office, corporate development, or principal investments.
- Demonstrated multi-sector investment experience across real estate, venture capital, private equity, equities, or operating businesses.
- Strong capabilities in portfolio management, investment analysis, financial modelling, and financial reporting.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop internal teams.
- Excellent commercial judgement and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across investor, founder, and partner communities.
- Knowledge of the Qatar investment ecosystem is desirable.
- A strong international investment network is advantageous.
