Payment Operation Manager

Job Role

Leads the team and oversees end-to-end payment operations. Coordinates with business and IT stakeholders. Manages escalations and reports performance to senior management. The Payment Operations Manager leads the end-to-end payment operations team ensuring smooth execution of all payment activities. This role acts as the bridge between the business, IT and banking partners while managing escalations and reporting performance metrics to senior leadership.

• Lead and manage the Payment Team, providing direction and support
• Oversee payment processing, reconciliation, reporting and issue resolution
• Coordinate with internal departments Finance, IT, Taxpayer Services and external stakeholders banks, vendors
• Monitor SLA compliance and manage escalations
• Prepare and present periodic performance and risk reports

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master s degree or MBA is a plus
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, CIMA, or CPA are advantageous

• 7 10 years of experience in payment operations, banking, or financial services
• Minimum 3 5 years of leadership experience managing a payment or finance operations team
• Proven experience in
• Payment processing and reconciliation
• Working with ERP/financial systems and payment platforms
• Interdepartmental coordination (especially with Finance, IT, and external banks/vendors)
• Handling SLA monitoring, issue resolution, and performance reporting
