Risk Manager​/Specialist

This role is based in Qatar and offers full-time employment with a consulting firm supporting a financial institution client in the continued development of its enterprise risk framework. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to strengthen risk management practices, governance processes, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

• Support the implementation of enterprise and operational risk frameworks.
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs).
• Monitor operational risk events and maintain risk registers.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management and governance committees.
• Assist with business continuity and resilience initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and recommend improvements.
• Develop and review policies, procedures, and control documentation.
• Work with business units to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Promote a strong risk culture across the organisation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in Operational or Enterprise Risk.
• Demonstrated experience in governance, controls, and risk reporting.
• Working knowledge of RCSA methodology.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Background in banking or financial services is preferred.
