The primary responsibility of the incumbent will be to support Assistant Vice President International Cards and Retail Payment Acceptance for all business activities related to international card and payment products. The objective is to maximize volume and profits by increasing international market share for the bank. Need to maintain and ensure QNB policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements for various countries establishment and support Assistant Vice President International Cards and Retail Payment Acceptance to acquire new market wherever the bank have the presence .

Furthermore, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing products aligned with local market business and take it to international market as suitable, while continuously innovating new and enhanced products and features to meet merchants demand. This should be done in a professional and proactive manner, in partnership with stakeholders.

• Shareholder & Financial:
• Assist AVP International Cards and Retail Payment Acceptance in developing and implementing strategies and plans to achieve pre-agreed volume and revenue/ profit targets for the Retail Cards and Payments Business.
• Strong international payment industry market knowledge
• Strong understanding of the various factors that affects the Bank’s financial & non-financial performance.
• Strong marketing and technical product knowledge
• Understand both Internal and External environmental factors including economic, political, social, competitive and regulatory to be captured in the business planning and operational processes.
• Possess the ability to be sensitive to changing international market conditions and react to market dynamics effectively
• Understanding on POS and Ecommerce base business.
• Observes and promotes cost consciousness and efficiency, and enhance productivity, to minimize costs, avoid wastes, and optimize benefits for the bank
• Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent
• Implements KPI’s and best practices for Assistant Manager, International Cards and Retail Payment Acceptance
