Waiter & Houskeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Waiter & Housekeeper to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in our dining areas while also maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Greet and seat guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure timely and accurate service
• Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
• Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities in guest rooms
• Assist with laundry tasks and maintain proper inventory of cleaning supplies
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in hospitality industry, particularly in food service and housekeeping roles (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
• Proficiency in cleaning and housekeeping practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning tasks
• Food handling certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of local customs and etiquette in Doha, Qatar (preferred)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus
