The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all guests and colleagues using the pool facilities at Raffles & Fairmont Doha. The role requires constant vigilance, excellent swimming ability, and a high standard of guest service in line with the standards of Raffles & Fairmont brands.

• Maintain continuous surveillance of all pool areas to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Enforce hotel pool rules in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond immediately and effectively to emergency situations, including water rescues and first aid.
• Administer CPR, first aid, or emergency care when required and coordinate with medical services if necessary.
• Conduct routine safety checks of pool areas, and lifesaving equipment.
• Provide a warm, welcoming, and attentive service to all guests, ensuring a luxury guest experience.
• Assist guests with poolside needs, including towel distribution, sunbed arrangement, and general inquiries.
• Promote a family‑friendly, safe, and relaxing environment for guests of all ages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool, and lifeguard stations.
• Ensure lifesaving equipment is functional and properly positioned at all times.
• Record and report incidents, accidents, and maintenance issues accurately and promptly.
• Support pool and recreation operations during events and peak periods.
• Adhere strictly to hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and Qatar local authority guidelines.
• Follow Accor brand standards, SOPs, and emergency action plans at all times.
• Participate in regular training, drills, and performance evaluations.

• Valid Lifeguard Certification (internationally recognized).
• Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Previous lifeguard experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or beach club preferred.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Knowledge of pool safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Fluency in English language;
  Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
