As a Housekeeping Supervisor
, you are responsible for supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring that cleanliness and maintenance standards meet hotel requirements. - Prepare Housekeeping Attendants’ job assignments
- Issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants
- Attend daily meetings and receive special instructions
- Receive check-outs before reporting them as vacant
- Receive special requests from guests and carry them out
- Inspect areas cleaned using a checklist to ensure cleaning is adequate, supplies in rooms are as per standard, and immediate repairs are reported
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience:
- Similar experience in a luxury hotel
- Experience in effective learning and development methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse work environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of written and spoken English
- Additional language is an added advantage
- Strong organizational skills
- Result-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude
