Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant ensures high cleanliness standards, provides excellent guest service, and possesses strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas.
- Clean guest rooms, public areas, and service areas; handle guest requests; ensure safety while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and comfort in the hotel with attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to high‑quality service.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness, support guest services, manage supplies, and adhere to health standards.
- Assist guests, ensure timely requests are fulfilled, and provide exceptional service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Supervise housekeeping operations, assign duties, monitor room status, inspect cleanliness, and train staff for optimal service.
- Coordinate housekeeping activities, manage inventory and lost items, ensure cross‑department communication, and support daily operations with strong organizational skills.
- Update the Property Management System and assist with inventory control while solving problems proactively.
- Manage cleaning programs, conduct inspections, maintain guest satisfaction, and liaise with departments to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Support Room Attendants by maintaining cleanliness, personalizing guest experiences, and assisting with various housekeeping tasks.
- Oversee laundry operations, ensure cleanliness of laundry processes, liaise with suppliers, and maintain stock while communicating effectively.
- Greet guests, assist with pool/beach needs, maintain cleanliness, and monitor inventory; interact with guests in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Assist with childcare-related responsibilities where applicable, ensuring safety and adherence to relevant standards.
- Experience in housekeeping and a background in hospitality or tourism management is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety; customer service oriented.
- Relevant education and proficiency in English; ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
