Assistant Director of Food and Beverage Overview
A luxury hospitality destination in Doha is seeking a seasoned Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to support the strategic and operational leadership of a multi-outlet food and beverage division. Reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage, this role plays a critical part in driving service excellence, operational consistency, and commercial performance across seven dining outlets. Candidates currently based outside of Doha are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities- Support the Director of Food and Beverage in overseeing daily operations across seven F&B outlets
- Ensure luxury service standards are consistently delivered across all venues
- Lead, coach, and develop outlet managers and senior team members
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Act as a key liaison between operations, culinary, and executive leadership
- Step in as departmental lead in the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage
- Proven experience in a senior F&B leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Strong preference for candidates with Forbes-rated or equivalent luxury brand experience
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets
- Previous Middle East experience required
- Strong operational, financial, and people leadership skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Candidates must be based outside of Doha at the time of application
- Monthly salary: 18,000 QAR
- Housing allowance: 9,000 QAR per month
- Transportation allowance: 1,200 QAR per month
- Private medical insurance covering spouse and up to two children under 18
- Annual round-trip airfare for employee and eligible dependents
- Annual leave: 21 days
- Schooling allowance up to 50,000 QAR per year
