Responsibilities- Prepare special meals or substitute items; regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator; ensure proper portion, arrangement, and garnish; maintain food logs.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared; communicate assistance needs during busy periods; inform Chef of excess items for daily specials.
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and items that are out of stock; ensure overall quality of food items.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists; prepare cold foods.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
- Follow all company safety and security policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance; protect company assets and confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; communicate clearly and professionally; develop positive working relationships; support team goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move and lift objects as required (up to 25 pounds).
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
