Job Description

As a Recreation Attendant, you are responsible for providing warm, engaging, authentic, and personalized service to all guests who use the facility.

What you will be doing:
  • Actively engage with guests and assist in all guests’ needs, including issuing towels, issuing chaise lounge covers, and assisting in chaise lounge and cabana set-up.
  • Pick up and remove used towels and debris from the pool deck areas throughout the day.
  • Provide unique experiences to all guests through warm, personal, and detailed service in a luxury, upscale, fast‑paced environment.
  • Ensure a positive first impression of the pool for guests through detailed cleanliness, set‑up, and ambiance control.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all wellness and recreation services, activities, amenities, and hotel services/features.
  • Up‑sell and promote wellness and recreation offers whenever possible to maximize sales revenue.
  • Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned and set the pool according to standards and procedures.
  • Be well‑versed in hotel fire, life‑safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the management of the hotel.
Qualifications
  • At least one year’s experience as a recreation attendant.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
  • Availability to carry out any assignments as delegated by the department manager.
