Assistant Banquet Manager; Ladies Wedding
Role Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that the “Gold Standards” of The Ritz‑Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day. The role requires teamwork, strong communication with guests and internal departments, and the ability to manage staff and event requirements to meet the hotel’s high service standards.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure staff works together as a team, inspecting grooming and attire and rectifying deficiencies. Communicate with guests, employees, and other departments to meet guest needs, including special banquet event arrangements. Set up banquet areas/rooms, guaranteeing cleanliness, proper furniture/equipment placement, and compliance with table set‑up standards. Document necessary information in the appropriate logbook. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, while fostering positive working relationships.
Follow company, safety, and security policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training. Maintain uniform standards, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Respond professionally to guests of all needs, including individuals with disabilities, and conduct telephone calls with proper etiquette. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving objects up to 75 pounds with assistance.

- Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. - Related work experience: at least 1 year.
- Supervisory experience: at least 1 year.
- License or certification: none required.
- Preferably female, Arabic speaker.
