Your role will be to ensure that the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day. Responsibilities- Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
- Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages.
- Stock ice, glassware, and supplies.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
- Wash dishes and serve utensils as required.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Requisition necessary supplies and transport them from the storeroom to the bar set‑up area.
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
- Document pertinent information in the department logbook.
- Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to reach common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire shift.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
