Operations Manager, Catering & Hospitality About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in Catering and Hospitality to lead andoptimizeour operations in Qatar. The successful candidate willbe responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, customer satisfaction, team performance, and business growth across catering and hospitality services.

• Lead and manage all catering, hospitality, and food service operations across multiple locations and client sites.
• Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all operational departments.
• Manage large scale catering contracts, corporate events, VIP functions, and special projects.
• Conduct regular operational audits to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
• Identify new business opportunities and support the commercial team in preparing proposals, tenders, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure effective manpower planning, recruitment, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization activities for new catering projects and contracts.
• Analyze financial performance and implement action plans to maximize revenue while controlling operational costs.
• Monitor supplier performance and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best quality products and services at competitive prices.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Municipality, Ministry of Public Health, Civil Defense, HACCP, ISO, and food safety standards.
• Develop and implement business continuity plans and risk management procedures.
• Prepare and present monthly operational and financial reports to senior management.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Proven leadership experience managing large catering and hospitality operations with 500+ employees.
• Strong understanding of remote site catering, labor camps, and industrial catering.
• Track record of successfully managing multimillion dollar catering contracts.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and operations simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and crisis management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients, employees, and senior management.

• Bachelor’s Degree. MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Catering, Hospitality, or Food Services.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
