Summary:

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within the property. They will help coordinate and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

This position is based at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana Doha.

Job Responsibility

Assist the Housekeeping Manager in creating and implementing cleaning schedules, policies, and procedures.

Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they follow proper cleaning protocols and use equipment safely.

Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet quality standards and address any issues promptly.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and address any guest concerns related to housekeeping.

Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.

Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to housekeeping staff.

Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, schedules, and budgets as needed.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and health and safety regulations.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
