Summary

The Bellman is responsible for assisting the guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure according to our service standards in order to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Welcomes the guests upon their arrival in a friendly and caring manner according to Wyndham standards and assists them with the delivery of their luggage to their room in an efficient and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assists in loading and unloading baggage to and from vehicles and log it in log control sheets
• Escorts guests to their room. For first time guests, explains hotel services. In the room, provides further explanations on facilities and emergency exit to ensure guest comfort during the length of their stay. For regular guests, if appropriate, maintains a friendly and caring conversation.
• Keeps abreast on hotel products and services as well as on tourist and business traveling information that may be of any interest to our guests.
• Handles guest requests in a polite and efficient manner, refers requests to relevant staff if needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Follows up when necessary.
• Calls guests by their name whenever possible.
• Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.
• Ensures that designated uniform is worn, well pressed and in a good state of repair and to ensure that name badge is worn at all times.
• Collects luggage from guest rooms and keeps them in a secure area until guest departure.
• Maintains visibility in the lobby entrance area and offers assistance to guests when sees them carrying their luggage on their own.
• Upon requests, stores guest luggage into the luggage storage room.
• Handles all luggages with care.
• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of luggage storage room and luggage trolleys.
• Minimum of 1 years as a Bellman in hospitality.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment.
