  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in bar operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within luxury hospitality or high-end restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, premium spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards.
  • Experience with POS systems, inventory management, stock control, and beverage costing.
  • Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and local regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing budgets, supplier relationships, and beverage cost control.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required.

General Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all daily bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, train, and develop bar staff to maintain high performance and service excellence.
  • Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to company recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Develop and enhance cocktail menus, beverage offerings, and seasonal promotions in alignment with brand standards.
  • Monitor beverage sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Monitor and control beverage costs, wastage, breakage, and variances.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with beverage director, purchasing and finance teams on cost analysis, pricing, and budget management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with beverage suppliers and negotiate favorable commercial terms where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all bar areas at all times.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, billing accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Monitor staffing levels and scheduling to ensure operational coverage and labor efficiency.
  • Stay informed on market trends, premium beverage products, and cocktail innovations.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and company operational policies.
  • Prepare operational and performance reports for senior management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of operational and commercial information.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by senior management.
