Talent Manager (Staffing / Resource Management) – Doha
Oliver Wyman is looking to bring on board an experienced professional as a Talent Manager (staffing / resource management) to join our IMEA Talent Management Team. This role is based out of our Doha Office.

- Staff independently consultants (Associates‑Principals) across IMEA for selected practices (~80+ consultants)
- Serve as a trusted business partner to Industry Heads, Office and Market Leads; secure buy‑in for staffing options and decisions
- Run regular meetings with Industry Heads, Office and Market Leads to understand consultant performance, skills and development needs
- Facilitate a smooth staffing process and proactively raise issues and concerns regarding the pipeline of potential projects
- Collaborate with other Talent Managers within IMEA and in other regions to find solutions on a wide array of topics (staffing, business development, etc.)
- Build relationships with consultants and develop a rounded view of their capabilities, professional goals and interests
- Manage wellbeing and work‑life balance discussions and partner with key stakeholders in business on strategic priorities such as capacity planning, utilisation, performance management and overall staffing process
- Collaborate with Performance Management to identify training needs of consultants and participate in review processes
- Partner with HC Operations on HC‑related topics related to the pool of consultants
- Lead or get involved in a variety of Talent projects/initiatives in the IMEA region when needed
- Review consultant performance using the competency model and conduct reviews and proposed solutions with the business
- Maintain accurate and timely data in Certinia and contribute to the monthly Timesheet Variance process
- Coordinate the production of weekly consultant availability long lists and keep these up to date
- Report and interpret reports such as utilisation, staffing, OW balance to identify trends and actions
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a fast‑paced and dynamic client services business environment, ideally from a Management Consulting or Big 4 firm
- Experience balancing ever‑changing work demands in a challenging environment with numerous stakeholders
- Proven ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, teaming and organizational skills
- Ability to provide strategic guidance on any HR related area to the business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and different cultures
- Flexible attitude, hard‑working, prepared to step outside job description if needed
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work with confidential data
- Team‑player able to function independently but collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
- Experience with a resource management system highly desirable; proficient with data analysis and reporting
