We are a diversified and rapidly growing group of companies based in Qatar, operating across construction, industrial, and trading sectors. As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR leader to build, lead, and transform the Human Resources function at a group level.
The Group HR Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the group's business objectives. This role requires a hands‑on leader capable of building HR systems, policies, and a high‑performance culture across multiple business units.
Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing HR for a group of companies (multi‑entity structure)
- Strong background in construction, industrial, or contracting sectors (highly preferred)
- Extensive experience within GCC, preferably in Qatar or Saudi Arabia
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law and HR best practices
- Demonstrated experience in building HR departments from the ground up
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Develop and implement group‑wide HR strategies, policies, and procedures
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and manpower optimization
- Establish compensation & benefits structures aligned with market standards in Qatar and GCC
- Oversee full‑cycle recruitment, especially for large‑scale hiring in construction and industrial sectors
- Drive performance management systems and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with Qatar Labor Law and regulatory requirements
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution
- Build HR analytics and reporting systems to support decision‑making
- Lead and mentor the HR team across multiple subsidiaries
