Role SummaryNational Development Coach plays a pivotal role in preparing nationals to become high-performing professionals across Qatar Airways Group. The position acts as mentor and career steward, guiding graduates through the Graduate Development Programme and ensuring they acquire the technical, professional, and leadership competencies required to succeed in operational and corporate roles.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and mentor national graduates throughout the structured Graduate Development Programme.
- Monitor individual progress against development milestones, performance objectives, and competency frameworks.
- Provide tailored career guidance and developmental feedback aligned with business and workforce needs.
- Embed a strong coaching culture by introducing modern coaching methodologies, frameworks, and digital tools.
- Support leadership capability development and drive positive behavioral change among national talent.
- Partner with business units and HR stakeholders to align development plans with operational requirements.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend targeted learning, training, and development interventions.
- Track performance outcomes and provide regular progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of nationalization and graduate development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, training, or talent development.
- Strong understanding of graduate development or nationalization programs.
- Knowledge of modern coaching methodologies and performance development frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to motivate, guide, and influence early-career professionals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor multiple development plans simultaneously.
