Job Title: Employee Relations and Compliance
Location: Doha, Qatar
We are seeking an experienced HR Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist to manage employee relations matters, labor law compliance, and HR governance across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling disciplinary cases, employee grievances, policy administration, workplace culture initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment regulations. This position requires strong knowledge of employee relations practices, labor laws, and HR operational governance.
MandatoryRequirements & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations, HR Compliance, or HR Operations.
- Proven experience handling disciplinary cases, employee grievances, and labor law matters.
- Experience with in corporate or regulated environments is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and case management practices.
- Sound understanding of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience in HR policy development and governance.
- Familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English.
- Arabic language skills are strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong conflict resolution, communication, and advisory skills.
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, workplace disputes, and investigations.
- Advise managers on employee conduct matters and ensure fair, consistent application of HR policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations cases and outcomes.
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labor laws and employment regulations.
- Monitor legislative updates and assess impacts on HR policies and procedures.
- Support management on compliance-related matters and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Promote ethical workplace practices, employee engagement, and a positive organizational culture.
- Ensure consistent communication and application of HR policies across departments.
- Support employee onboarding, induction, and awareness of company policies and workplace standards.
- Manage administrative aspects of employee exits, including resignations, terminations, and clearance procedures.
- Conduct compliance monitoring activities and support internal HR audits.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain HR compliance records, reports, and governance documentation.
