We are looking for a Time & Attendance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate attendance and timekeeping records, ensuring compliance with internal HR policies and supporting daily HR operations.
Responsibilities- Review daily attendance and check-in/check-out records to ensure accuracy.
- Process leave requests, missing clock-ins, and exception entries in the system on a daily basis.
- Enter business assignments for employees in cases where biometric attendance is not used.
- Update attendance records for leaves and absences based on ERP system reports issued by the HR department.
- Communicate directly with employees via email or messaging to follow up on absences, leave coverage, or attendance issues, ensuring line managers are included in all relevant communications.
- Create employee and register biometric fingerprints for new and existing employees upon HR approval.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly reports (summary and detailed) to the HR department in Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint formats.
- Review overtime records, verify them against the system, and enter required data.
- Manage monthly duty schedules for caregivers and monitor their implementation.
- Monitor the attendance system and coordinate maintenance, updates, and system improvements.
- Transfer and track biometric attendance records for assigned locations.
- Archive all attendance-related records and monthly reports.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the Head of Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR operations, attendance management, or administrative roles.
- Experience working with attendance systems and electronic HR systems; ERP knowledge is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong reporting and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Must be currently residing in Qatar.
