About the role
Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an opportunity to join our HR System and Administration team as an HR Separations Coordinator, based in Doha, Qatar.
As the HR Separations Coordinator, you will be accountable for successfully coordinating the operations of the Separations Department, ensuring professional, accurate and timely services are provided to separated staff and overseeing the overall separation process across the QR Group. You will also supervise and improve the existing service standards.
Responsibilities- Effectively execute all end‑of‑employment procedures upon receipt of resignation or termination, including verifying notice periods, last working days, leave records, leave encashment, unpaid leave, welcome bonuses, furnishing allowances, telephone and email bill payments.
- Process acceptance of resignations/end of employment/retirement/absconding/employment certificates, obtain authorization from signatories, and ensure all concerned departments are informed through copies of letters and emails.
- Oversee the update of the last working date in master files.
- Process clearances and follow up on pending clearances.
- Advise concerned departments regarding recoveries/reimbursements to be included in the full and final settlement.
- Notify the relevant bank to obtain bank clearance.
- Ensure submission of travel request cargo entitlements based on higher‑management instructions.
- Process full and final settlements and advise the finance department.
- Ensure conclusion of the staff file with legal clearance letters, update the separations register, and hand over the filed file to the filing room to close the file.
- Perform other departmental duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department.
- High‑school qualification, vocational qualification, diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of job‑related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of job‑related experience.
- Experience in Human Resources.
- Strong interaction with client areas with proven influencing experience.
- Exposure to HR systems and interviewing techniques.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Proven ability to demonstrate flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
