ACES is looking for a HR Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
Job SummaryCoordinate and perform all Human Resources activities including recruitment and hiring, training and development, performance monitoring, employee relations, and payroll.
Duties and Responsibilities- Implement Human Resources policies and procedures including performance management, attendance management and disciplinary procedures, etc.
- Provide HR advice and support to the line managers and employees; explain policies and procedures in a timely effective manner.
- Coordinating with the Group HR & Admin Manager to conduct annual employee performance appraisal
- Arrange, coordinate and implement training and development activities and initiatives based on available performance appraisal data and competency frameworks.
- Assist in developing and conduct general orientation programs and follow-up departmental orientation programs
- Develop and conduct general orientation programs and follow-up departmental orientation programs.
- participate in the initiation and follow up of all governmental related procedures in the areas of work permits, residence permits, etc.
- Administer Employees Healthcare benefit and ensure the implementation of the healthcare contract.
- Arrange visas, traveling permits, and coordinate with the secretary to arrange for travel flights, hotel reservation and car renting, etc.
- Maintain and develop the filing system of personnel.
- Administer Mena ITech applications and maintain accurate and updated data in the system.
- Coordinate with various functions in order to obtain the necessary information on recruitment needs, and perform/coordinate recruitment activities as required.
- Maintain an active and organized data bank of applicants for various positions.
- Verify the employee’s credentials (certificate, work experience and license, etc.).
- Draft employment offer letters and contracts for selected candidates.
- Assist in preparing the monthly payroll sheet and make the financial settlements needed accurately.
- ensure pay-deductions, commissions, overtime, income tax liabilities and Zakat liabilities in compliance.
- Follow-up labor incidents and cases and report findings to the Management.
- Submit periodically reports and studies as requested by the management.
- Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.
- Contributing to the development of HR systems and the establishment of a working environment where employees excel in their work and get motivated to work and participate.
- Support solving employee conflicts and improve HR administration; develop strong relationships and effective communication between company employees
- Saving files and documents of department's work which are easy to retrieve and update according to the organization's policies.
- Updating the appropriate forms whenever an employee receives a promotion or switches to any other department (update employees HR records) to keep all the information up to date.
- Perform any duties or responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
This position will directly report to the HR & Admin Department Manager.
Job Requirements Education & Experience- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related field.
- HR Professional Certificate is preferable.
- 0-2years of experience in the field of Human Resources
