Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor shall oversee warehouse operations in WMS environment including assigning tasks to warehouse staff, and ensure efficient implementation of warehouse processes and activities within maximum productivity.

The scope of responsibility shall include planning and organizing day to day deliveries using numerous vehicles; supervising the correct receipt of shipment per documentation; overseeing the stock control processes; and ensuring security and HSE compliance by the warehouse team.

• Supervise deliveries of products to customers across Qatar in a manner that is cost effective & ensure high customer satisfaction.

• Supervise the receipt of inbound shipments to ensure goods received are in good condition and are as per the shipment note/invoice.

• Supervise the stock control processes in all assigned warehouses to ensure efficient and effective management of stock.

• Oversee the reporting and communication to the relevant parties to ensure the timely provision of information necessary for their decision-making and action.

• Supervise the warehouse team’s compliance to Security and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and practices to minimize or prevent accidents, loss, or damage of company properties, assets or life.

• Lead and motivate the employees towards exemplary performance and team work in order to exceed delivery of results and be engaged.

• Carry out other tasks and activities which will support the team and company in meeting its targets and objectives.

• Diploma or Degree in warehousing/supply chain
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Supervisor or in Charge in a WMS environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in Warehouse operations and best practices.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Computer Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills in English.
• With analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively one self and the team to meet the workload and objectives.
• Good team leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to be methodological and able to work within a budget.
