Purpose:
Lead the ERT, coordinate rescues and develop shiftwise emergency readiness during TAR.
Reports to:
ORYX HSE / Contractor PM |
Work Schedule:
Schedule3 (12 h/day, 6 d/wk; day or night) |
Location:
Ras Laffan, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
Lead rescue planning and execution; ensure readiness of equipment and crews.
Develop/maintain Emergency Response Plans; conduct drills and competency checks.
Liaise with ORYX HSE, PTW Authority and operations for highrisk tasks.
Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:
Competency per NFPA 1006 & 1670 (Confined Space Rescue) documented per OSHA .
Standard First Aid/CPR with AED.
IRATA Level 2 or 3 (Team Leader based on assessment).
5+ years industry specific Oil & Gas experience as Emergency Response Technician; prior team leadership in TAR context.
Job Specific Skills (must/strongly preferred):
Rescue command/control, rope access supervision, incident command basics, strong reporting/coordination skills.
