We are seeking a results-driven and strategically minded Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement function.
Role OverviewThe Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a group-wide procurement strategy that delivers cost efficiency, supplier excellence, and uninterrupted supply of goods and services across all business units. Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees procurement activities for the Facility Management Division, Commercial Operations, and all centralized support functions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, deep supplier market knowledge in Qatar and the GCC, and the ability to implement structured procurement frameworks that support the group’s growth and operational excellence objectives.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy & Policy- Develop, implement, and continuously improve a group-wide procurement strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of Al Emadi Enterprises.
- Establish and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure transparency, compliance, and value for money across all purchasing activities.
- Implement a structured vendor management program, including vendor registration, qualification, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for all categories, including facilities management supplies, construction materials, IT equipment, professional services, and luxury retail support.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers to secure the best possible terms on quality, price, and delivery.
- Build and maintain a robust supplier base, fostering long-term strategic partnerships with key vendors while mitigating supply chain risks.
- Draft, review, and manage all procurement contracts and service agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and compliance requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and renewals, proactively addressing any issues or deviations from agreed terms.
- Collaborate with the Legal & Compliance department to ensure all procurement activities adhere to applicable regulations.
- Identify and deliver measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements across all procurement categories without compromising quality or service levels.
- Prepare and present regular procurement performance reports, including spend analysis, savings achieved, and supplier KPIs, to the General Manager.
- Build and mange the procurement budget, ensuring expenditure is controlled and aligned with approved financial plans.
- Partner closely with the Facility Management Division, Engineering & Projects, and Commercial Operations teams to anticipate procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Work in coordination with the Finance & Accounts department to streamline purchase order processing, invoice approvals, and payment terms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably within a diversified group, real estate, facility management, or luxury retail environment in the GCC.
- Expertise: Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Qatar’s supplier market, local content requirements, and procurement regulations.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP or procurement management systems is an advantage.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
