As Cargo Inventory Management Manager, you will oversee strategies that optimize cargo capacity utilization across passenger and freighter flights. You'll lead performance reviews, implement forecasting and overbooking models, and align network‑based decisions with commercial goals. This role requires advanced analytical skills and a leadership mindset capable of influencing key stakeholders and driving strategic improvements across the business.
What You’ll Do- Lead cargo inventory planning and capacity optimization across the network
- Manage and mentor a team of Cargo Inventory Management Specialists and Analysts
- Develop and implement strategies to balance allotment and free‑sale capacities
- Set overbooking levels and risk thresholds using historical no‑show and demand trends
- Analyze route economics, monitor flight performance, and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with commercial and operational stakeholders to align goals and resolve constraints
- Review flow and flight trends, prepare forecasts, and identify margin improvement opportunities
- Oversee evolution of entry conditions and optimization triggers based on network behavior
- Monitor business impacts of implemented strategies and adjust based on live performance
- Act as subject matter expert for cargo optimization projects and digital transformation efforts
- Contribute to system enhancements, project rollouts, and internal performance evaluations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in airline, cargo, or logistics
- Strong background in revenue management and network optimization
- Proficient in analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent understanding of air cargo operations and commercial practices
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Confident communicator with persuasive and influencing skills
- Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments
- Project management and stakeholder engagement experience
- Digitally driven with a focus on innovation and data‑led decision making
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
