Qatar Airways is seeking a Manager Compliance to strengthen and advance its group-wide compliance and governance framework. This role supports legal and regulatory alignment across diverse business units, ensuring the organization operates in line with international compliance standards while supporting current and future business strategies within a complex global aviation environment.

- Manage and supervise compliance‑related matters across Qatar Airways Group to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise on legal and compliance matters including sanctions, export control, anti‑bribery and corruption, due diligence, competition, consumer rights, governance, and data protection.
- Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend improvements and remediation plans for identified gaps.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, guidance, and training programmes.
- Provide advisory support to management and employees on compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Draft, review, and update compliance‑related documentation to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Support governance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of the group compliance framework.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance, regulatory legal, audit, or risk roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in a large organisation, regulatory authority, or in‑house corporate environment.
- Proven exposure to compliance risk management and third‑party risk management, including due diligence and sanctions.
- Strong expertise in international compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- In‑depth knowledge of sanctions, export control, due diligence, governance, competition, and data protection.
- Ability to handle complex compliance issues and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and manage teams effectively.
