• Manage and supervise compliance‑related matters across Qatar Airways Group to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Advise on legal and compliance matters including sanctions, export control, anti‑bribery and corruption, due diligence, competition, consumer rights, governance, and data protection.
• Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend improvements and remediation plans for identified gaps.
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, guidance, and training programmes.
• Provide advisory support to management and employees on compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and update compliance‑related documentation to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Support governance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of the group compliance framework.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance, regulatory legal, audit, or risk roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in a large organisation, regulatory authority, or in‑house corporate environment.
• Proven exposure to compliance risk management and third‑party risk management, including due diligence and sanctions.

• Strong expertise in international compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• In‑depth knowledge of sanctions, export control, due diligence, governance, competition, and data protection.
• Ability to handle complex compliance issues and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and manage teams effectively.
