- Define and deliver comprehensive category strategies aligned to business goals
- Develop and achieve cost savings plans against budgeted targets
- Set and execute supply strategies for assigned product categories
- Lead cross-functional strategic planning to maximize group value
- Review and enhance procurement policies and processes for best practice
- Ensure high service levels across procurement timelines, communication, and professionalism
- Set, monitor, and deliver category KPIs and performance outcomes
- Review and approve documentation for compliance and governance standards
- Lead high-value and high-risk supplier negotiations covering cost, commercial, and contractual terms
- Support departmental budgeting and manage quality control across project life cycles
- Produce spend analysis, performance reports, and executive summaries
- Challenge specifications, timelines, and sourcing approaches to optimize outcomes
- Prioritize and allocate workload across the category team and support peer managers
- Own forward planning and category roadmaps with senior stakeholders
- Perform additional duties as directed by department leadership
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or diploma with at least 9 years of relevant experience
- Strong category-specific procurement experience
- Fluent English communication skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Advanced negotiation planning and execution capability
- Strong contractual and financial acumen
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency
- Demonstrated people management, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Service-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building ability
