About the role

Responsible to support activities for the growth of Qatar Airways Integrated Training Center’s business operations, by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, forming partnerships, managing client relationships, and implementing solutions for revenue generation through the supply of training services to external customers.

The key responsibilities are

  • Discover opportunities for offering ITC training capabilities to different Qatar Airways Divisions and Subsidiaries, such that surplus availability can be efficiently used for the benefit of QR group.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities through research and analysis of market trends, identification of potential clients, and exploring collaborative partnerships with external organizations.
  • Implement business strategies, through execution of comprehensive plans to achieve growth objectives.
  • Manage client relationships by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to foster trust and long‑term collaboration.
  • Work with potential clients to identify technical training needs and logistic concerns, so that the information may be used for defining scope of services and engage in negotiations to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor industry trends with respect to FSTD & SEP training, staying up to date with developments, competitor activities, and current requirements to adapt accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional campaigns to target potential customers of ITC equipment and services.
  • Coordinate with ITC Engineering and Quality Team to ensure that sourced services are technically compatible and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage logistical effort for external & internal visitors for utilization of the facilities and special events showcasing the training capabilities at ITC and FDTA buildings.
  • Manage liaison resource for formal communication with internal stakeholder (QR, QE, QAF) and external entities.
  • Provide essential technical and operational support to both internal and external customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Coordinate with Security Department for approved facility visits by external visitors.
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
  • Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and make appropriate changes if needed.
  • Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.
  • To be committed and contribute to the National talent development, by coaching the national developers, preparing them for a career with boundless potential. Leading to the program’s continued growth and success.
  • Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
  • Keep abreast with any market trends and developments.
  • Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
  • Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements.
  • Ensure that in performance of the role, all uses, disclosures and requests of any information (in any form) are done in accordance with data protection principles adopted by the QR Group and are limited to what is reasonably required to accomplish the intended business purposes of the use, disclosure or request.
