The Vice President of Asset Management Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction of QNB’s asset management operations. The role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance portfolio performance, optimize asset allocation, and align investment strategies with QNB’s long-term goals. The VP will work closely with senior management to ensure the effective execution of asset management strategies and drive organizational growth.
MainResponsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies that align with QNB’s overall objectives and market opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, investment opportunities, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic planning.
- Oversee the optimization of asset allocation across various investment portfolios to maximize returns and manage risk.
- Implement strategies to enhance portfolio performance and adjust investment approaches based on market conditions and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement best practices for asset management operations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
- Ensure integration of strategic initiatives with operational processes and systems.
- Collaborate with senior executives, investment managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of asset management strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, clients, and industry professionals to support business development and client satisfaction.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of asset management strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on strategy execution, performance outcomes, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
- Oversee recruitment, development, and performance evaluation of team members.
- Identify and manage risks associated with asset management strategies and operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in asset management, with a strong background in strategic planning and portfolio management.
- Proven track record in developing and executing asset management strategies and driving organizational growth.
- Extensive experience working with senior management and stakeholders to align and execute strategic initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective asset management strategies.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst, Level
3) is required. - Experience in US Equity is required;
China Equity is a plus. - 5 years of proven track record managing stocks.
