Summary:
As a Commercial Manager specializing in Data Center projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commercial aspects of projects related to data centers. Your role will involve ensuring profitability, cost control, and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability.
- Evaluate project proposals, budgets, and costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor project costs, expenses, and revenue to identify areas for improvement and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with commercial agreements and contracts.
- Manage contract variations and claims to protect the company's interests and mitigate risks.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to track project performance and financial health.
- Oversee procurement activities related to the project, including vendor selection and purchase orders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in commercial management within the construction or data center industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure advantageous deals.
- Excellent financial acumen and ability to analyze project costs and budgets.
- Familiarity with contract management principles and practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM) or similar certification is a plus.
