Senior Cost Manager
Reporting to the Project Director and/or Programme Commercial Lead, you will be involved in the cost management of major projects or a portfolio of smaller projects across the programme of works that consist of up to 200 building projects.
Responsible as part of the team ensuring that all project commercial and contract activities comply with the clients requirements.
Plan, develop, and supervise cost functions, ensuring that all project cost activities, budgets and forecasts comply with company and client controls requirements.
Ensuring the cost performance of our own teams or extended teams of Project Management Consultants, Sub Consultants or appointed Contractors.
Work alongside the Project Management Team in the development, implementation and management of project cost standards and commercial procedures.
To provide Cost support to the project teams to assist and guide the establishment of the project budgets and cost controls.
Experience / QualificationsInternational experience is NOT essential.
Degree Qualification with a minimum of 10 years Post Graduate experience is essential.
Must have experience with well recognized, blue-chip construction organisations on major projects.
Must be able to demonstrate longevity in previous work history.
