Job Description Overview
This position is for an experienced Project Manager specializing in data centre projects, responsible for leading end‑to‑end delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in managing large‑scale projects involving power, cooling, networking, and security systems within data centre environments.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage data centre projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including IT, facilities, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data centre projects.
- Prior UAE experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and security.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of data centre best practices and industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA‑942).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
