Senior Contracts Manager

Lead the contracting and commercial management function for a major onshore EPC project. Responsible for developing contract strategies, managing tendering and contract execution activities, mitigating commercial risks, and ensuring effective administration of high-value contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead all project contracting activities, including tendering, EPC contracts, and service agreements.
• Develop and implement contract strategies that support project objectives and business priorities.
• Oversee the preparation, evaluation, negotiation, award, and administration of contracts.
• Ensure contract terms appropriately allocate risk and protect company interests.
• Manage contractor performance, variations, claims, disputes, and commercial negotiations.
• Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project leadership and key stakeholders.
• Monitor contractual compliance, payment certifications, securities, and contract close-out activities.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks to safeguard project cost and schedule.
• Build and lead a high-performing contracts team, driving continuous improvement and best practices.
• Maintain strong collaboration with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Project Controls, and external contractors.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry across project management, engineering, construction, procurement, or contract management functions.
• Proven experience managing contracts on large-scale EPC or major capital projects.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role within a major project environment.
• Strong background in tendering, commercial management, risk management, and contract administration.
