Full-time (Onsite) Job Overview

The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all facility management operations across the Head office, showroom and supporting facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for customers and employees. The role manages maintenance, security, housekeeping, fit‑out projects, contractor performance, and facility services while ensuring compliance with operational standards and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily facility operations including maintenance, housekeeping, security, landscaping, and technical services.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Manage outsourced facility management service providers and monitor their performance against SLAs.
  • Lead fit‑out, renovation, and refurbishment projects while ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance.
  • Manage the Facility Management (FM) ticketing system and ensure timely closure of maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate MEP, civil, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop maintenance schedules to maximize asset reliability and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Monitor facility operating costs and manage maintenance budgets effectively.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and business continuity plans.
  • Prepare operational reports, maintenance KPIs, and contractor performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations, Security, Procurement, and Commercial teams to support business operations.
Qualifications & Requirements Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Facility Management, Building Operations, or Property Management.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in retail, shopping malls, commercial buildings, or large-scale facilities is highly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of facility management operations, including MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil maintenance, and building infrastructure.
  • Hands‑on experience with Facility Management (FM) Ticketing/CAFM systems is mandatory

  • Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
  • Experience managing outsourced facility management providers and service contracts.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, fire protection, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Strong project management skills for fit‑out and renovation projects.
  • Excellent contractor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Strong budgeting, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
