We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager – P&L to lead the overall business operations, profitability, and strategic growth of a leading Money Exchange organization in Qatar. The successful candidate will have full Profit & Loss responsibility while overseeing business operations, financial performance, regulatory compliance, digital transformation, and customer experience. This leadership role requires extensive experience within the Money Exchange, Foreign Exchange, Banking, or Financial Services sector, with a strong focus on business growth and operational excellence.

• Lead the overall business operations with full ownership of Profit & Loss, financial performance, and business strategy.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, financial targets, and performance objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, branch expansion initiatives, and additional revenue streams.
• Monitor financial performance, operational efficiency, and key business performance indicators.
• Oversee end-to-end Money Exchange operations, ensuring service excellence across all branches.
• Establish operational policies, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Ensure full compliance with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations, AML, KYC, CFT, sanctions screening, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong governance, risk management, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Build and strengthen relationships with banking partners, corporate clients, regulators, and key stakeholders.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including technology adoption, remittance platforms, and process automation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior management teams while fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards and effectively manage escalated customer issues across the organization.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA, Master's Degree, or other postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Money Exchange, Foreign Exchange, Banking, Remittance, or Financial Services.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role with full P&L ownership (General Manager, Country Head, Business Head, or equivalent).
• Proven track record of driving business growth, profitability, and managing large-scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of Money Exchange operations, foreign exchange, remittance services, and financial products.
• Thorough understanding of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations, AML, KYC, CFT, compliance, and risk management.
• Experience implementing digital transformation and fintech solutions within financial services.
• Strong commercial, financial management, leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and people management abilities.
• Experience in the Qatar or GCC Money Exchange, Banking, or Financial Services industry will be highly preferred.
