Project Control Manager

An international consultancy engineering company is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team on a major Cargo Terminal / International Airport Project in East Africa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project controls activities and ensuring effective management of project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, reporting, and performance management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead and manage the project controls function across the project.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, baselines, and progress measurement systems.
• Monitor project progress, performance, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Oversee cost control, forecasting, and budget monitoring.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to identify schedule and cost risks.
• Prepare and review regular project controls reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
• Implement effective change control and assess the impact of changes on cost and schedule.
• Identify potential delays, trends, and risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Ensure effective coordination between planning, cost, commercial, and project management functions.
• Provide project controls advice and reporting to senior project management and the Client.

• Recognized degree in Project Management, Program Management
  , or a related discipline.
• Membership of an appropriate professional institution

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience on large international airport projects
  .
• Experience working in an operational airport environment is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Controls Management
  .
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, and project reporting
  .
• Proven experience managing project controls on large and complex projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant project controls and Microsoft Office applications
