- Working Hours & Days: Sunday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM;
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM - Nationality Preference: Male, Indian
- Driving License Preference: Not required, but will be an advantage if available
The E-Commerce Trading Manager is responsible for driving the commercial performance of the website and app. This role ensures product, pricing, and promotional strategies are planned & executed effectively, with a focus on conversion, sales growth, category performance, and delivering a best-in-class customer journey.
Trading & Commercial PlanningLeads the development and execution of the weekly/monthly trading calendar.
Ensures all campaigns, promotions, and key product/brand launches align with business objectives.
Owns category P&L and manages performance targets, allocating budgets effectively across campaigns and promotions.
Contributes to strategic decisions on seasonal planning, assortment, and pricing strategies.
Oversees product assortment & onsite merchandising, ensuring category pages, search & navigation align with commercial priorities.
Regularly reviews bestsellers, stock levels, and product visibility to maximise sales opportunities.
Works closely with Head of Buying & Operations to ensure alignment between buying & commercial decisions and prioritisation at category/sub-category level.
Conducts landing page and onsite optimization to improve conversion rates and Average Order Value (AOV).
Regularly reviews category/sub-category performance and implements improvements.
Promotional ExecutionWorks with marketing & design teams to deliver commercial campaigns & promotions onsite.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all promotional pricing, product tagging, and banner placements.
Monitors promotional effectiveness and optimizes campaigns for maximum ROI.
Collaborates with marketing teams on paid campaigns (Meta, Google, Tik Tok, Snapchat) to boost category performance.
Monitors KPIs including (but not limited to) conversion, AOV, sales, and category performance, implementing tests and enhancements to improve trading outcomes.
Works with analytics to identify opportunities and resolve underperforming areas (products, categories).
Conducts A/B testing and experiments to continuously improve category and campaign performance.
Provides insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to enhance commercial performance.
Cross-Functional CollaborationWorks closely with Marketing, Content, Performance Marketing, and Buying teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and business objectives.
Partners with product content and design teams to optimize onsite presentation, merchandising, and promotional assets.
Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience:
5+ years in eCommerce trading, category management, or retail merchandising, ideally with online marketplace exposure.
Digital & Analytical
Skills:
Comfortable with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or similar), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel), and understanding of full-funnel marketing.
Optimization Mindset:
Continuously seeks opportunities to improve site performance, campaigns, and promotions.
Ownership & Leadership:
Proactive, accountable, and capable of taking ownership of category P&L and delivering results.
Collaboration & Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work across multiple teams and present insights clearly.
Education:
Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, eCommerce, or related field.
