JOB PURPOSE
The Head of Corporate Communication is responsible for leading and governing all corporate communications across Almana Group. The role ensures consistent messaging, strong brand equity, and structured internal and external communication aligned with the Group’s vision and reputation standards.
KEY RESULTS AREAS / DELIVERABLES AND KEY ACTIVITIES1.CORPORATE COMMUNICATION STRATEGY & GOVERNANCE
- Develop and implement the Group Corporate Communication Strategy aligned with Almana Group’s vision and business priorities.
- Create, own, and enforce Group-wide communication guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging hierarchy.
- Act as the final authority on all corporate communication materials at Group level.
- Ensure communications are aligned with Qatari cultural, regulatory, and reputational considerations.
- Protect and enhance Almana Group’s corporate brand image across all channels.
- Oversee Group-level announcements, milestones, partnerships, and leadership communications.
- Manage corporate reputation, including issue management and crisis communication readiness.
- Ensure all external communication reflects credibility, professionalism, and leadership.
- Design and manage a structured internal communication plan across the Group.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of the Group newsletter (monthly / quarterly).
- Curate and communicate business updates, achievements, leadership messages, and employee highlights.
- Strengthen internal alignment, engagement, and sense of belonging across subsidiaries.
- Supervise the creation and approval of corporate announcements, press releases, official statements, leadership messages, corporate presentations, and profiles.
- Ensure all content is clear, aligned, accurate, and on-brand.
- Make sure brand and corporate messaging alignment without operational overlap.
- Act as the Group’s main interface for corporate media engagement (when required).
- Coordinate with PR agencies and external partners for Group-level communication.
- Support leadership with media talking points and official narratives.
- Ensure controlled, approved flow of information to external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or training in corporate communication, media relations, or branding are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or Marketing.
- Proven experience working in an advertising, PR, or communications agency environment, handling corporate clients and structured communication deliverables.
- Experience transitioning from agency-side work to an in-house corporate environment is highly preferred.
- Strong background in creating newsletters, press releases, official statements, and leadership communications.
- Proven experience in copywriting and professional translation (Arabic and English).
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling ability.
- Native or fluent Arabic speaker is mandatory.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken).
- High attention to detail and message accuracy.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to influence and advise senior leadership.
- Cultural sensitivity and strong understanding of the Qatari business environment.
