Determine the demand for Doha Cables products and services and its competitors and identify potential customers. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive products to guide strategic decisions in product development and business growth. Develop and execute the marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, support business development, and engage key audiences across digital and traditional channels.
Key Accountabilities- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote the products and services of Doha Cables, ElSewedy Cables & other brands of ElSewedy Electric.
- Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy based on knowledge of organization objectives, market characteristics and cost & markup factors for Doha Cables and ElSewedy Cables.
- Monitor & ensure the effectiveness of the marketing strategies.
- Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research & development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Organize meetings with leading consultants Energy, Industrial, Construction sectors to achieve the status of preferred cable manufacturer for the various projects.
- Develop pricing strategies by balancing organization objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings.
- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products by analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
- Track competitor’s developments and innovations; initiate and supervise vendor registration process.
- Plan and prepare weekly/ monthly marketing activities.
- Gather information from customers, partners, clients and other sources related to the progress of various projects in Qatar.
- Ensure the product ranges complies with project specifications and requirements.
- Develop marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content.
- Attend conferences to provide existing potential clients with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products.
- Organize and participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, trade shows etc., working with advertisers, and production managers to market Doha Cables products and services.
- Plan & organize launching ceremonies and related press conferences. Arrange media coverage to regional events and serves as onsite media contact.
- Monitor & Supervise the digital presence and updating of Doha Cables website.
- Preparation of tenders for direct submission for big tenders.
- Analyze CRM statistics and prepare various reports for the Sales department, Technical department, Planning department, Production department.
- Establish performance goal/ objectives for the marketing staff and monitor its performance on a continual basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in marketing or customer relationship management, preferably in the power/energy/cable sector.
- Strong experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Good knowledge of market analysis, customer insights, and competitor benchmarking.
- Experience in managing marketing campaigns, budgets, and product positioning.
- Ability to manage and supervise digital presence, including websites and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Preferred: CRM certifications (Salesforce, Marketo) and experience with CMS tools.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
