Chef de Partie – Bakery
Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
As a Chef de Partie – Bakery
, you will oversee daily bakery operations and ensure the consistent production of premium‑quality baked goods for our restaurants, lounges and banquet events. You will lead a small team, maintain high standards of quality and presentation, and contribute to the development of new and inspiring bakery creations.
- Supervise and participate in the preparation, baking, and finishing of breads, viennoiseries, pastries, and specialty items.
- Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation meet the hotel’s standards of excellence.
- Organise daily mise en place and delegate tasks efficiently to the bakery team.
- Monitor stock levels, maintain cost control, and ensure correct storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery area.
- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and Sous Chef to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a professional bakery, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong technical knowledge in bread and pastry production, dough handling, and finishing techniques.
- Proven leadership and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry preferred.
