What You Need To Know

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead and grow sales of TESCOM pressure regulators and Haskel pumps in the Qatar market and manage mechanical bulk requirement & promote sales of tube fittings, valves, instrumentation fittings, and related fluid system components.

Key Accountabilities:

The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, managing key relationships with end users, EPCs, consultants, and channel partners, and identifying new business opportunities across oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and industrial sectors.

Provides technical consultation, customized mechanical and instrumentation solutions, and onsite support tailored to customer applications. Liaise with clients on techno-commercial proposals, support product prequalification with national oil companies, and identify new vendors to strengthen and expand the product portfolio.

Collaborates closely with internal sales, operations, CSR, and principals to ensure smooth order execution, timely project delivery, and high customer satisfaction, while analyzing market trends and competitor activity to strengthen market positioning and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications / Skills & Experience Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Instrumentation or Electrical engineering or a related discipline
  • Candidates with a relevant Business degree and strong technical sales experience may also be considered
Essential
  • Minimum (5-8) years of proven sales and business development experience in the Qatar Oil & Gas sector, with demonstrated involvement in EPCs, end users, or service providers
  • Demonstrated history of working with a mechanical wholesale distributor or with prior experience in handling Mechanical services to the oil and gas industry
  • Previous experience working with clients like NOC, Qatar Energy, Qatar Gas LNG and supplying to the Oil & Gas industry
  • Valid Qatar driving license
  • (4-7) years of experience in sales of pumps, fluid handling equipment or fittings
  • Ability to work independently and manage key accounts strategically
  • Customer-focused mindset with solution-selling approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred
  • Proven experience selling TESCOM regulators, Haskel pumps, or similar high-pressure / instrumentation products.
  • Previous experience working with clients like NOC, Qatar Energy, Qatar Gas LNG and supplying to the Oil & Gas industry.
  • You must have a good understanding of the Qatar oil & gas market segment’s demand, customer’s budgeting processes and purchasing behaviors.
  • Experience with AODD (Air-Operated Double Diaphragm) pumps is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of project sales cycles and EPC procurement processes.
