KONE Middle East Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is in a growth phase with direct presence across 7 regions. New Building Solutions is a strategic priority to support our growth plans and sustainable success. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic sales engineer with a strong customer-focused mindset to be based in Doha, Qatar and report to the head of New Building Solutions in Qatar.
In this role you will lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and strategic or nationally/locally important customers. You will proactively identify solutions and develop processes that add value to our customers. The Sales Engineer will manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.
A service mindset focuses on creating customer trust, value and loyalty. We are seeking someone with a proven track record of partnering with the business, who is influential, results-driven and has strong commercial acumen.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and strategic or important customers.
- Proactively identify solutions and develop processes that add value to customers.
- Manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals to maximize order book and profitability.
- Contribute to sales development strategies and share best practices within the team.
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial).
- Minimum 3–5 years of elevator industry experience in one of:
Complex Sales Process Management, Business Development, or Key Account Management. - Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to interpret and analyze customer needs.
- Passion for sales with a proven track record in handling strategic key accounts and a strong customer focus.
- Excellent English and Arabic communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Qatar experience is preferred.
