Job

Purpose

To deliver a high level of in-person customer service to clients within a retail/shop environment, while driving sales performance through proactive engagement, needs-based selling, and expert guidance on Personal Lines Insurance products, in line with company guidelines and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a sales-driven, client-facing representative for walk-in customers, delivering a professional and welcoming in-store experience.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and recommend suitable Personal Lines Insurance solutions to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Achieve individual and shop sales targets, contributing directly to the overall commercial performance of the business.
  • Promote, cross-sell, and upsell the company’s products in line with sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide accurate, clear, and compliant product information to customers in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Prepare quotations and support customers with new business, policy amendments, and renewals.
  • Ensure high quality standards by collecting complete and accurate customer information for quotations, policy issuance, changes, and renewals.
  • Identify and escalate risks outside personal authority limits to the relevant manager.
  • Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with customers and key partners to support repeat business and customer retention.
  • Support and contribute to sales campaigns and initiatives to ensure targets and objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal control standards as defined by management.
  • Adhere to shop operating hours, shift schedules, and attendance requirements as instructed by management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the team and across the Personal Lines department to ensure seamless customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Perform any other related duties as required to support business operations.
Operational & Technical Responsibilities
  • Review, rate, accept, decline, and issue new policies and renewals for Personal Lines products within delegated authority limits and in accordance with approved underwriting manuals and management instructions.
  • Ensure sales performance, KPIs, and quality benchmarks are achieved in line with business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in a sales-driven, customer-facing role within the insurance or financial services industry
    , preferably in a retail or store-based environment.
  • CISI certification is mandatory.
  • Relevant experience in the Qatar market is mandatory.
