Overview Of The Role:
The Sales Engineer for the Elevator division is a dynamic role focused on driving the sales initiatives within the organization. Key responsibilities include identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting customized solutions to meet these requirements. The individual will close sales, ensuring alignment with company goals, and maintain robust relationships with clients to achieve customer satisfaction and service excellence. Collaborating with technical and operations teams is essential to ensure successful project delivery and fostering long-term client relationships.
Achieving specific sales targets and contributing to the financial success of the division forms a critical part of the role.
What You Will Do:
Sales & Business Development- Identify and target new business opportunities in the Elevator/Escalator industry.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through lead generation, networking, and market research.
- Qualify leads, conduct site visits, and prepare proposals tailored to clients' requirements for new elevators and annual maintenance.
- Close sales by negotiating contracts, ensuring terms align with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the Elevator industry.
- Effectively communicate the technical aspects and benefits of the company’s services to non-technical clients.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to customize service offerings that meet client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Conduct detailed discussions to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Provide accurate quotations and timelines to clients while ensuring profitability and project feasibility.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, concerns, and potential new service offerings to the company.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales to operations.
- Assist in setting up contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of local regulations and standards in the Elevator field.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical).
- 7-10 years of sales and business development experience in the Elevator/Escalator industry.
