Responsibilities
- Greet customers when they arrive at the store and respond to their questions according to protocol and company policies
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on parts, tools, and equipment based on customer requirements
- Direct or lead customers to their required products and provide them with details on features and benefits of the product
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product features, specifications, and compatibility
- Ascertain that customers are made aware of any discounts or deals that are applicable on their chosen products
- Answer customers’ questions and ensure that any warrantee or guarantee queries are properly responded to
- Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertisements
- Promote all Showroom Products
- Adhere to all Showroom policies, procedures, and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
- Communicate customer requests to management
- Meet the set sales target in coordination with Product Managers as set by the Management
- Make sales referrals, cross‑sell products, and introduce new ones
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the mechanical products available in the retail shop
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point‑of‑sale system
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and customization as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of parts, tools, and equipment and replenish stock as necessary
- Ensure products are properly labeled, organized, and displayed to optimize visibility and accessibility for customers
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with stock rotation and markdowns as directed by management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing personalized service and addressing their concerns or inquiries
- Actively engage in customer retention initiatives and promotions to drive sales and enhance customer loyalty
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in a competitive environment, showcasing a track record of success
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company, such as mechanical or electrical goods
- Strong technical skills with familiarity in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite to manage sales processes efficiently
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and effectively convey information
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to problem‑solving, showing initiative and resourcefulness
