Job Description
We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary levels of customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests. As a Sales Manager – MICE you are responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities within your area of responsibility. The role involves executing all sales action plans and includes the following key responsibilities.
- Handle all incoming MICE RFPs generated by inbound or outbound sales offices, pertaining to the defined segment or portfolio.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets.
- Prepare offer letters according to guest requirements and availability, in line with company standards and selling strategy.
- Ensure that all necessary event information is obtained from the account manager or the client directly prior to preparing an offer.
- Maximize upselling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities suitable and complementary to the MICE booking.
- Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist superiors in managing the accounts system.
- Ensure that Rotana sales policies and SOPs are adhered to at all times.
You should hold a degree in sales and have a minimum of two years of postgraduate work experience, ideally within the hotel industry. You must be computer literate with excellent presentation skills and highly sophisticated communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in English is essential; any additional language skills will be an asset.
